# ADLocal data source

There are 5 fields to fill in :&#x20;

1. **Data source name** : choose a name for your data source : for example my AD local data source
2. **Customer agent** : select the customer agent installed on the same machine that your Microsoft Active Directory.
3. **LDAP path** : select the LDAP path : cf. <https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/adsi/ldap-adspath>\
   For example : *LDAP://DC=it-connect,DC=local:*&#x20;
4. **Windows account user name** : enter a windows account name with the access right to the Active Directory
5. **Windows account password** : fill in the password of the windows account
